In light of the recent grievances with the sales and trades at Got|Apex? and other sites, we thought it necessary to post up some general rules.

• No Dealers - This is not a place to get free advertising.
• Post a price for the item(s) you are selling - this is not an Auction site. Should someone meet your price, you must make the deal and not ask for more.
• No Auctions - This gets out of hand quickly. Links to auctions go in the MLM, Referrals, and Spam Forum
• Enable your Email - No one is going to trust you if you don't show your email.
• No Warez - This includes "backup copies". Anything illegal is not allowed.
• No Spam - Take your Multi-Level Marketing to the appropriate forum.
• Canadians - If you are trading from Canada, please let us know up front. It does make a difference in shipping times and cost.
• Don't Crap - On other people's threads, that is. Everyone has their own price in mind, so privately ask them if they can lower their price instead of ripping on them.

Here are some suggestions how not to get jacked.

• Get References - Ask for emails of people they have traded with in the past. Traders evaluations are available at www.heatware.com
• Use Paypal - It's not perfect, but it could very well be your last line of defense.

Check the Bad Trader List! This is a compiled list of bad traders that Got | Apex? and other popular sites have found. This list will (unfortunately) continue to grow all the time, so check back often. If you want to add to the list, or feel that you have been given a bad rap, please email me or the moderator.

Threads pertaining to bowel movements, poop, crap, piss, feces, and anything related to them are not permitted. Links to grotesque pages are also not permitted. Please spend your time discussing other things.

Sigs: picture{s} can be up to 40kb total. As for dimensions, we didn't want to specify dimensions for every size possible. If its too big, we will let you know. And please keep sigs a reasonable length. 10 lines should be plenty.

Members are expected to conduct yourselves as gentlemen and ladies here. That means showing courtesy to other members and avoiding excessive cursing and personal attacks like namecalling and flaming. In addition, please extend a welcoming hand to newbies-they may not be familiar with how the forum operates. Those unable to do so and who contribute to an unfriendly atmosphere will be given a timeout.

This forum is not to be used as a personal chat room. ICQ, AIM and more are readily available for people who wish to engage in chat. Furthermore, private messaging is provided for a reason-please use it for private discussions and to resolve personal conflicts.

No Neffing: Neffing is posting about basically nothing in order to drive up post totals. Neffing is frowned upon by members and a person who nefs may find themselves with a reduced post total and unwanted custom rank.

Got|Apex? Forums appreciates thoughtful, *participatory* discussion of various topics. Keeping in mind that this is not a news site, 'link only' posts and threads with no original content will not be allowed. Posting an interesting or relavent new article is OK if you use it to begin a discussion. However, please do not post a link only - we all know where Yahoo news can be found. Thank you.

Please-no warez links or requests for warez links.
No referral, auction or spam links in signatures or posts, unless it is in the Referral/Spam forum.
No asking for money in either posts or signatures.

Please post in the proper forum. Moving threads is a courtesy, simply deleting the threads of people who lack the ability to post in the right forums is ok as well.

Got|Apex Off Topic forum babe/hot guys threads are a time-honored tradition. That said a few simple guidelines apply:
1.) Pictures should be 250kb or smaller. Pictures over 250kb should be linked to only.
2.) Pictures that show too much (more than primetime TV) are not allowed. This includes nipple, butt, pubic region.
3.) Clothing that is see through, so that you can see "color" (see #2 above) are not allowed.
4.) Links to porn sites are not allowed.
5.) GAM's have final say on what stays and what goes. No ands, ifs or butts about it.

Time On the forums: People who continue to violate rules will be given a "time out" (account lock) for a period of time determined by the GAM. It will range from a couple days up to a week or more. If unfortunately a timeout is earned, please do not come out back under another name. Such behavior is looked negatively upon and the timeout may be extended up to additional 2 weeks or you will be banned.

We reserve the right to add and change guidelines without any prior notice.
