Exclamation

maybe someone here knows what the deal is.

when I built my computer, the very first thing I put on it was Quake III, (for benchmarking purposes-you know, the old FPS routine) It ran on the higher resolutions and effects smooth as ever. Now, two weeks later, it's choppy as hell on even the low resolutions.

I've done all the simple things (close TSRs, defragging) but I can't seem to figure out what's causing this choppiness. I'm talking about a full install, single player game. Man this sucks....

Does anyone have a clue what the problem is??

Thanks,
Wilks
