Red Alert 2?

I know that the PS2 has definitely taken over the video games news for the last few weeks, but has anyone checked out Red Alert 2 yet? I almost bought it off of amazon last night...and I'm still tempted...

ps - I just want to hear if it is really as good as some people are claiming.

It's pretty good. It's certainly much better than tiberian sun. The story is very good and the units are fun (though not enough of them). I'd get it, but it's NOT one of those instant classics (like warcraft, diablo, deus ex, etc.)

After the disappointing Tiberium sun... I will not play any more C&C games. Blizzard Games all the way!

MadCool - Dude........red alert 2 is way cool. I didn't like tibreian sun either, but ra2 is a lot o' fun!

I just bought RA 2 at compUSA for $35.00 on Saturday and just played it just then. It had me hooked on the computer! Tiberian Sun sucked very badly. I only played one mission. LOL...Anyway, the units are better, story is way better. The thing is, the battle takes place in America instead of the other countries, and the story begins with the US needing help instead of Europe needing help.
