Jack Thompson is a complete idiot.

I haven't posted in a long while, but after reading this article on msnbc I couldn't help it:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18220228

I wonder what it's like to be that naive and convinced that solutions to societal problems are that easy to solve, especially when it's so easy to pick a scapegoat like video games.

He also needs a large number of chuck norris-style kicks in the jimmy. I'm talking a large number.

What a tool... all he's looking for is a big payoff from the gaming industry if he can manage to win one of his frivilous lawsuits. Notice who he writes a letter to? Microsoft, who doesn't even produce games like Counter Strike, but has deeeeep pockets.

We all know the REAL culprit was Dihydrogen Monoxide - I hear Cho was a *regular* user of this dangerous substance!

They regularly skew him on Penny Arcade from making the same ridiculous claims on any incident that involves the 'typical' gamer stereotype and violence. He's been barred from practicing law in one state I believe.

When I was in college I remember constantly having to deal with junkies hopped up on this stuff. It was particularly gross when it started to ooze it from their skin, causing a vicious foul stench.

Used to call them "dimos." Some of em would even freeze the stuff and chew on it - wtf?

Did you see Casino Royale where Bond is tortured? I think that would work out...

"Yes, yes, yes...hahahaha...now the whole world...will know...that you died...scratching MY BALLS!"

I think perhaps if that scene were reenacted and anyone who wanted to could come save Jack... well no one would...

Remember when people were saying that dungeons and dragons caused kids to become satanic and violent prone?

good ol' puritanical rhetoric.
