Zelda: Ocarina named greatest game ever...
I'm disappointed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night got missed in the top ten. I love that game:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/6261546.stm I completely agree with Zelda: Link to the Past being up there. The list won't be fully available until tomorrow, so I'm curious to see if the replayable classics will be on there: MarioKart, the original final fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, etc. From the newer generations, I hope God of War and Guitar Hero make the cut. They both deserve it.

OOT is one of the best games ever made. I'm glad to see it get the highest honors.

just kidding. I've never even played Halo. OOT is a safe top pick.

I know they write these just to make us converse (and go to their pages) but where is Quake 2? Without Q2 we would have no Halo, RE, or HL. Id software practically invented the fps. Geez.

Man, somehow Psychonauts made the list...come on...that game was so boring I had to take several months away before I could finish it. And it was buggy as all hell. I found the Ratchet/Clank series to be much more groundbreaking and entertaining. But that's nowhere on the list.
Castlevania SOTN made the list, but not in front of Shadows of Colossus. Was that game THAT good? It looked boring to me. (God of War was in the high 90's, where Shadows was in the low 30's.) http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?op...k=view&id=6231 |

The opted for Doom 2 and Quake III as the ground breaking FPS, then again with Far Cry and Counterstrike. |
