WarCraft III
Well, I put in to be a Beta tester for WarCraft 3, and I just read on the Games page that they announced they were shipping the games out.
I haven't received an email notification, but there's still hope!  The way I see it, I have a 1 in 5 chance. And I have a lot of time to play with it right now too!!!  Hope.Hope.Hope.

i was a beta tester for diablo 2, we could only get to the blood raven, and only be a barb, i got to level 26 i think

beta testing
I hear beta notifications are out at least in the first batch
 .A friend of mine in Vegas got in  and is thinking of putting it on E-Bay if anyone is interested...Doesn't that seem wrong though... or at least a bit, inane... using your real money on an advanced viewing of an imaginary world??

Yep.. It's a pretty cool game. Will be nice to get the full game when it is out. Lots of servers to play on right now, especially if you add in all of the servers using bnet emulators.

those bnet emulators are evil ..
Blizzard is going to come down hard on the leaked copies/emulators and so on ... the simple fact of linking a unique key to the game and battlenet should fix a lot of those issues .. bad key = no play, ip logged .. duplicate key = key banned, ip logged ... simple .. don't bash on the hacked warcraft 3! it's far better than the regulated version on uswest. besides...there is no way that battle.net can shut them all down. that's why this is so incredibly beautiful.
