That's sweet. Damn, I was thinking about getting a GBA...fairly cheap compared to having to by a console to satisfy my gaming needs. Heehee

Sweeeet! I want one.
Can the light be turned off when there is light to play, of does it continue to eat the battery?

Dear Portable Monopoly subscriber,

For those of you in the US, today (Friday) is the first day for preordering the Afterburner kit! At 1:00 PM CST, the pages of portablemonopoly.com will contain a link to the store area where you can reserve your kits. Good luck! (And let's hope the server doesn't crash..)

I want to say this one more time - thank you all very much for the support you've given the site and this project in the past months. You are responsible for making this product possible, never underestimate the power of popular demand! I hope that when things settle down somewhat I will actually have time to respond to great emails I've had to set aside.

We have made a few updates to the site - you can now download a video of the Afterburner in action (check the latest news page) and we've made some updates to the FAQ to clear up a few issues.

Most importantly, the FAQ outlines the payment types we will accept. I apologize for not getting this information out sooner, but we are going to accept checks and money orders besides Visa/Mastercard so most of you should be accommodated.

International customers: Please do not try to preorder a kit as this process is for US customers only. We are allocating half of our inventory for international sales and they will be handled on a completely separate basis.
We will not accept orders of any kind from international customers (with the exception of quantity orders, 25+ - contact adam@tritonlabs.com for more information), you will have to place an order with a company who is reselling the Afterburner. A list of those companies from which you can buy an Afterburner kit will be made available on the site within the next couple of weeks. Many of you have expressed concern with the prospect of a delay - there is no need to worry as these kits will be released on an international basis along with the US release. We will keep the international community posted on everything as it happens, so check the "Latest News" section often for this news.

Thanks again everyone!

Adam Curtis

Ordered mine yesterday. $7 for shipping.

Has anyone looked into the GBA to TV cable option?
I think theres a link at www.lik-sang.com
and www.buy-rite.com

One "looks" like you can just plug it in to the GBA to the A/V
inpur of your TV while the other requires some "modification" to the GBA.

I would love to play on a bigger screen...it's like having the original NES or Super Nintendo.
