Thumbs up Whoa... GP32!! Cya Game boy advance!

I found this while browsing some sites, apparently it just came out of nowhere and it's pretty popular in Korea. It's only out in Korea right now though...

http://www.gp32.com/English/system/system.html

this is so spiffy:

* Wireless Play
* Mp3 player and other multimedia files
* Smart Media slot
* USB docking cable
* Email capability
* Internet browser

Well, it can't really replace GBA if it won't play GBA games. It is cool, though.

Here's some video and screen shots of this thing in action. Looks pretty cool, and even functions as a MP3 player.

Its basically a pda thats more "honest" which is designed for games. But in reality nothing, nothing, *aheem* NOTHING will top the gba since the gameboy has such strong support and works with every gb and gbc game.

This thing is a perfect replacement for GBA, Why?

Because it can emulate NES, SNES, Sega, Spectrum, Aracde, Atari ST, GB, GBC, GBA, PCEngine etc.

I really want to get one of these. gbax.com is selling them for £99.99. They give discounts for bulk orders, When I asked they said if I were to buy ten, I'd save £100. Obviously this is not US currency. I think £100 is ABOUT $150.
So,
£99.99 x 10 = £999.90
£999.90 - £100 = £899.90
£899.90 / 10 = £89.99

There is also a 2.5% surcharge for the currency conversion.
The backlit version costs £129.99 which if I spring, I may go for that one instead.

Anyone want in? I am really thinking of ordering one because of its Emulation capabilites. I'd be more likey to order if I can get a deal on it.

I heard about this a few months ago, before GBA emulation was playable (with commercial roms).

So...who will be the first one to buy one and write a (honest) review?

Anyone know if an afterburner will install in one of these?

It's apparently 3VDC just like the GBA.

I'd just wait for the Sony handheld being released next year.
