america's army

not bad at all. very realistic and has pretty high requirements for compatibility. (32 MB video card, PIII 766 Mhz or higher, etc) lags on my computer and my video card is 32MB DDR and athlon t-bird 850. but i like it. my ROTC roomie brought me home a CD even though it's free. heh.

Yeah I was impressed for it being free, but I got bored of it after a while. Would be more fun if there was actual team work going on in the games but oh well, can't complain for free.

I look like a crack addict playing this everyday. I never was a big PC game payer so I have nothing to really compare this too so that could be why I like it so much.

If you are looking for teamwork, join a clan there are a bunch of them. I think the game has tons of potential. And you can't beat the price.

Does your score in the opening training affect anything later in the game?? I had this game, but wouldn't let myself past the training until I got all of the targets.. By that time, I got bored of the game, removed it and went back to counterstrike.. not to mention I had bought War III as well..

The only thing that can make any difference later is your score on the rifle range. You have to shoot 36 out of 40 (I think that number is right) to be able to go to sniper school, other than that you just need to complete each round of the training which is very simple to do.

To complete rifle training you do need to hit a minimum of targets, I can't remember the exact number but it is very easy to hit, the 36 for sniper school took me a little longer.

I'm still waiting for my CD to come in (i did D/L it, but i don't want to take up space on my HD heh) maybe I'll reinstall it and try again.. I always got 35 over.. and over.. and over.. it was like they didn't want me as a sniper.. dammit.. i want to kill people at over 100 yards and them not know which direction it came in. hehe

Please explain what you mean, or rather what you are referring to when you say "Please explain what you mean?"
