I picked up Tony Hawk 4 yesterday from Best Buy. Usually I rent a game once and if I like it, I buy it. I figured I could save some money if I just purchased it right away, since I have TH2 and TH3 already. I have been playing it for while, and I gotta say, it's not that cool. For one thing they took off the time limit, which makes it not that challenging. The gameplay is not as fluid either because in this version, you are not given all the goals at the beginning. Instead, you meet with random people in the game, where you have to press a button to talk to them, then they tell you the goal, then you try to accomplish it. After you accomplish it, gameplay stops while the person congratulates you, then gives you money, then gives you a stat point, then you have to apply the stat point, then it asks you if you want to save it, and THEN you get resume playing. Pain in the arse.

Anyways all I'm saying is you might want to rent it before you buy it like I did
