Splinter Cell

Has anyone played Splinter Cell on X-box? If so, what do you think? I am thinking of getting it for X-mas.

It's a great game! I bought an XBox about 6 months ago, and it's basically been collecting a bunch of dust. (I'm not really much of a gamer, but figured it could provide some entertainment when I didn't feel like watching TV or a movie or reading) . . . anyway, I got Splinter Cell since it looked like a cool game and since it seemed to best represent the muscle of the XBox. Plus, it was a shooter without really being a shooter . . . it's more about stealth and strategy, with a little shooting involved as a last resort.

Long story short . . . I was off from work last week, and I basically spent much of the week playing it . . . basically addicted to it . . . and beat it tonight, finally. However, instead of getting it off my mind as I was hoping beating it would, I now want to just start over on Hard.

Only game since my old NES that I've actually been interested enough in to get me to finish.

It's a much more stealth oriented game than Metal Gear Solid ever was. I've spent sooooooooo much time hiding in bushes in the dark and you know what? It's actually fun to do so. It's a terrific game.

...and I am still playing it! This is a definite must have for Xbox. I usually do not recommend buying a single person shooter, but with Xbox Live being able to DL new mission/levels, I would definitely get this one.
