DoD vs. Wolf ET

I tried playing the standalone multiplayer expansion Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I don't really like it. Seems very chaotic and doesnt feel like people really play as teams. (maybe its coz i'm not used to it...)

Day of Defeat on the other hand is really good, since you die so easily, that you really need the help of your teammates in order to get things done.

thats my $0.02, anyone else have any thoughts?

Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt is very fun, and the story is actually... there (as opposed to a lot of games)

It's pretty fun, although my g/f doesn't have a nice word to say about it...

A lot of people have given it the thumbs down. Now everyone knows why it didn't go retail.

RtCW:ET it's free it's fun... not bad, it's my current PC game

after playing wolf et for a coupla hours, the game experience totally depends on who you're playing with. if people are actively trying to do what they're supposed to do (i.e. medics go around healing, engineers go around fixing, coupla soldiers protecting those guys) then the game is really fun. although, they still need to balance out the maps.

Wolf: ET can beat DoD hands down any day. I've been playing ET a bunch in the last week or two, and it is one of the most fun online FPS games available. I think that it works far better than RtCW online...and even RtCW online was really fun. I love my Engineer's grenade launcher and my Soldier's mobile MG42. I love the medals and rankings that you get after the games. The secret is to find those few servers that run 5 mission or 10 mission campaigns...rather than the short north african theatre or european theatre campaigns. One of my favorite 5 mission campaign servers is "SS|Todeslager". Okay...I have to drive back to LA (in SD now), so maybe I'll post later, but you can definitely find me online in ET later...

The game is a lot of fun, but there's definitely some needs to balance out some of the abilities. You can be totally pinned down by a good group of people.
