Should I get PS2 S-Video?

Is it worth the money to get the s-video cables for PS2? Can I tell the improvement? TIA.

It will deffinately make a big difference. Colors will be brighter, and the image will be sharper.

You'll notice the difference especially in Madden football because in that game the colors tend to bleed into each other and with svideo they dont bleed anymore.

yeah def get the s-video, or if your TV can support it go with Component.

It really makes a dif, the regular cables aren't that good. When I switched things looked a lot crisper and brighter, definately a good investment.

Does it matter if I buy some other name-brand or should I stick with Sony?

I have a monster and I've never had any problems. I'd stick to either Sony or Monster.
