Fun Co-op Games?

Anyone know of any fun co-op games? Similar to Diablo 2 and Neverwinter Nights where you can go through the game with multiple people. Some friends and I like to play games together sometimes and we haven't found anythign to really play.

I play battlefield but that's more of a multiplayer type game. By coop im' thinknig of something where it's a story line of sorts, like I said (Diablo 2, Neverwinter Nights) and you go through it together, not multiplayer games like CS, Battlefield, Q3, UT and such.

...if console games can be included here besides the Bond games, I'd say Konker's Bad Fur Day is a great choice for multiplayer.

A more recent console game that is good is Tenchu 3. Fun and fairly difficult.

If you have half-life, I believe there was a mod called Seven Co-op that placed you with your friends in the single player story of the game, but with as many of your friends as you wanted....

You can probly search for it and still dl the old versions if there around, or check out www.planethalflife.com 's mod section... it was popular when hl came out (could be another mod for hl, but I know one of them does that)

Oh yeah -- grabe NESticle and play some network contra with your friend! Of course, you'll need an actual copy of the game to legally download it

My brother and I played Dungeon Seige one weekend for like 20 hours. Its fun doing co-op but unfortunately you cant save progress in the storyline. You can however save your characters.

Yup, dungeon siege is a good one if you haven't tried it. There are also many siegelets available that add a lot to the game. I belive I saw one that changes DS into a sci-fi theme. With guns and all that jazz. pretty fun.

UT Memo, I am in the same boat you are. My group is at the end of NwN. Two of us considered a co-op shooter, but the other other 3 have no interest. Some of us were considering BG2, but it is too slow for 5 people... How come no one make action-RPGs that are co-op?

If anyone can think of something in that realm, let me know too!

Remember Secret of Mana for the SNES? That was a RPG that 2 people could play. Something like that with todays graphics would be awesome.

No, all my friends moved on to the Sega Genisis. I missed out on all the marketing for the SNES (never even played it - saw it at the flea market once though).

My group is done with the Official Campaign in NwN and moving on to the Expansion Pack: Shadows of Undrentide. We heard it was set-up mostly as a single player game, but there is not really all that much stuff out there to choose from... Lionheart and IceWind Dale 2 were our other choices. I purchased ID2 to try it out, but it is kind of painful to go back to those 2d graphics. It is really too bad Morrowind is not multiplayer.
