Need game advice

So I need a game recommendation...

I was reading about Everquest and such and I want to play a game that I can level my character and be RPG like. I don't want to play Diablo 2 since it's pretty boring with just clicking and stuff. I tried Morrowind, but I'm not a fan. I tried Fallout Tactics, but it's too cumbersome.

I don't want to play any MMORPG at this time since I don't want to spend all my life in front of it and pay $15 a month. So I'm looking for an offline game.

Any thoughts?

Solitaire?

But seriously maybe you wanna play Dungeon Siege... kinda like Diablo with better graphics.

There's always UT24K... but you need to be online for that.

well the game i'm looking for needs to fit the criteria outlined between these two quotes. Did you skip that part?

I've been playing UT2k4, but offline (see thread about online gaming). However, all of the sudden it says my profile did not originate from the current machine and I couldn't unlock characters, so I stopped.

But i'm looking for a good rpg right now...

Play Freelancer, Neverwinter Nights or Freedom Force. All three are rpg and all three are very different genre. I'm sure you'll like one or all of them.

Naw I saw it... but I just ignored it since the answer "Solitaire" was funnier.

I never got around to finishing Neverwinter Nights. I guess I'll try to do it once the summer rolls around.

I didnt like Freelancer, it just seemed tedious.

Play Baldur's Gate if you haven't. Pretty good RPG. Don't know if you'll dig the graphics tho. I haven't finished the expansion yet.
NWN is ok. The main story is kind of weak. I haven't played the expansions yet, but planning on it eventually...So what exactly didn't you like about Fallout Tactics? I enjoyed it a lot personally, ended up beating it twice. I also played it with friends online, its pretty fun.

Baldur's Gate, Dungeon Siege, games like those were actually really fun.

All of the available Blizzard games also are enjoyable. Warcraft III, StarCraft, Diablo, Diablo II, etc

No one mentioned what many mags thought was last years game of the year. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. If you liked Balder's Gate this is a souped up version of it. I went through it 2 1/2 times. Light side, Dark side and half way through neutral before I got bored with it. Even the third time through there were new quests that I hadn't seen before.

Go finish KOTOR ... then go back and play it as the opposite side of the Force.

Umm.. this is not the place for game sale advertisements. You might wanna post those in "For Sale".... the management doens't like that sorta thing in the wrong forums.
