Report to the front and turn in your Halo avatar.

It's a family of video game systems eating dinner... the father is a Sega Genesis, the mother is a Super Nintendo (SNES), the maligned/pierced son is a Sega Dreamcast, and the other two are an unrelated PS2 and a Gamecube that may or may not be part of the family. The Sega CD and 32X allusions are references to failed Genesis add-ons from the early 90's. The Sega CD allowed the Genesis to play CD games, and the 32X supposedly upped the graphics power from 16-bit to 32-bit. The father (the Sega Genesis) cheated on his wife (the SNES) with them apparently.

It's sort of a comic/comment on the history of video game consoles and their relative success. Sega Genesis and SNES did quite well. Dreamcast dropped out completely by Sega (I had it but the games were kinda few and far between). Gamecube and PS2 are doing very well. The failed upgrades were 32x and SegaCD.
