Network intensive game
The place at work needs to know of a very network intensive game. I was told that WC3 and RTS's wouldn't be good because there's not enough variables going across the network to necessarily clog it.
ANy idea's? THey can't be TOO intensive for the CPU and GPU because they don't have too many powerful PC's. I was thinking Quake 3 and maybe HL. Doom 3 and HL2 are way too advanced for the PC's they're running. Thanks!

Does it have to be a game? What if everyone fired up netmeeting and all shared a large powerpoint presentation, and started flipping pages like mad?

Get yourself a copy of the original Doom game. It'll run on old hardware & was very inefficient on the network.
Of course, what you really need is a traffic generator, not a game. http://www.sniffer.com |
