I signed up and did not here anything! Then I got some strange mail with a time and a password with no information... not even a damn day. Needless to say I do not read this message board on a regular basis and I did not make my match.

Good luck to the winners and maybe next time the MORONS who organized this contest could let people know what the **** is going on!

Even if you don't frequent this message board, you should have read it at Gotapex.com. I think it's been overly stressed that it would start today, even tho it was delayed from Friday. Aside from that, you should have known what to do with ip address and password that was sent to you.

P.S. With that kind of language, I forsee the term "BAN" in your future.

Sorry Bro but the whole point of the contest was to give back to the community and welcome people in to read and post on our board. As you may have read on the contest webpage all updates will be posted in the forums under the Quake III tournament 2000 thread. I apologize if we overlooked you on the Heat assigment post BUT if you did receive an e-mail with all the info and you really were interested you should have checked the forums where it clearly show which time your Heat starts. I am solely responsible for the contest so I will take all the negativity you can muster, but considering you paid nothing and failed yourself to find the info where it was said to be....well what more can I say. Sorry better luck next time.

come on man. they give us deals, they allow us to enter their contest free of charge with pretty decent prizes and you're complaining? if you were really interested in the contest in the first place you would at least check the boards at least twice a week. is your life really that time constraining? im outs...

You know I read what I wrote from my first post and I think that maybe I am an idiot.

I should have been watching this board closer or at least checking the website. I do wish that more information would have come in the email but I do beleive that I was being an idiot from my earlier post.

Hope everything went well in the tournament and maybe next time I will keep up with what is going on in the world instead of playing all the time...

No apology needed, my friend. We're really new at this, and had hoped to organize a tournament that would be fun for everyone and a great way to build community here (plus give out a bunch of prizes, heh). Things didn't all go the way I would have liked, but I think Darth did a great job. There are some bumps I need to take care of for future contests and things, and future runs will definitely show improvements and things.

Because of your feedback, we can improve for the future. Perhaps expand on the info in the emails and such. It's a process, and we hope you stay tuned for future episodes.
