Anybody know of any really good sims out there. The last two really good sims I played were Master of Orion and Master of Magic, both from Microprose. C&C was also another fav of mine.
Master of Orion II was a disappointment, and since then I've been to busy to check games. I got 1 month to play, and I wanna waste it. I prefer games that are really complicated. Turn based or real time is OK. If it has RPG themes mixed in like Master of Magic is a plus. I loved 3D shooters back in the day of Doom and Descent, but I tire of them unless playing friends which is hard now. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... |

i love starcraft too! but my other favorite game is microsoft's Age of Kings. its pretty cool - takes place in midieval times, and you have armies of foot soldiers, archers, cavalry, catapults, etc... good multiplayer action, too

I played through Baldur's Gate in 4 days hehe. It was fun, but the reason I still play Orion and Magic is cuz you can play them over and over, each time being fairly different tactics.
Diablo was cool. Although I don't wanna try the Beta, I want the full. I think I'll give Starcraft a try. My best friend has it, but says it's only really good on multiplayer over LAN or net. ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... |

yeah AOE is one I forgot to mention. I think after C&C that's the only game I've really like. Age of Kings is simply an updated version of it right?
Civ2? I heard it sucked compared to Civ1? Is it worth buying for $20 or $15? ------------------ Ço£o§§ü§ - yeah you can read into it... |

Hmmm a good RPG to waste ur life away? I'd say Final Fantasy(any of them). Square makes the best RPG's- very biased opinion but oh well. If u got a playstation, Vagrant Story, FF IX (in a couple months), and Legend of Mana.
And if you don't got a PS... go with bleem! I think i got a copy to spare ![]() |
