you just use your copy and d/l it to her comp
use the guest key and wahla - she is signed up ONLY lvl 11...this is so slow to lvl..... |

I used the same CD's and installed the game. Signed up for an account using the guest pass key that comes in the box and then wait 2+ hours to get the patch. I play an Orc and it runs fine on my Athlon 2500+ with Ti 4200 but when I play a human it lags like crazy walking around in Stormwind(sp?). I don't think it's an issue with ram since I have 512 but my videocard is not compatible with Direct X 9.
angl2b is running with 384 ram and Nvidia 5500 PCI card and it looks much better. |

lol yeah IF sucks for lag. The best is when you are in an instance and you see your entire friends list/guild list go offline except the people that are in instances. Gotta love it when the Eastern server crashes and we are all alive and well on the istance servers.
i have people in my guild that have played over 60 days of /played time  Its nut, i'm no where near that much.

I don't get these video or interface controls. Somehow I set it so that I can see the HP/Mana/Rage text when I mouse over and see monster name text and quest number. I played at a friends condo and they have different settings. Am I missing a page or something in the menu options or are these like undocumented features?

Collectors edition? I got the guest pass in the normal run of the mill WoW box at Best Buy. I don't think it was a Collectors Edition because those come with extras right? Like Lithographs and figurines and DVD movies or something.

hmm they must be putting guest passes in the normal version now, /shrug
Would make sense, i knew in the beginning they only came with the collectors edition, thats nice to hear they are doing that now. Yeah i had Cosmos for a while as well, it just got too bloated. I use CTmod now, very light and nice. Just use the default 2nd row of bars and sidebars. Can find most other mods you need at curse gaming. Map notes & Map notes gathering are great! |

Alright, the semester is coming to a close and I think I'm going to go buy this game TODAY since I don't have to worry about it causing failing grades. A friend of mine says he plays on Deathacus or Defecus or something like that. Anyone else currently playing there? I'll probably be part of the Horde. If you guys got new lower level chars and would want someone to play with I'll play with you too since I don't think my friend plays ALL that much and I know I will be!

haha this stupid game. It is the reason to my slight departure of browsing the forums in a few months. Anyhow if anyone is interested, I'm on kilrogg, got a 60 marksmanship hunter (spig), 55 holy/ret pally (drippy), 37 arcane/fire mage (spigs). Its very sad how much this game has wasted my life away but i don't care because its too addicting. So send me a tell if you're on kilrogg and want to go do something or need help.
