Can't shoot Gordon Freeman
I finally got HL2 a couple of weeks ago and started playing last week. And I confirmed, projectiles still ignore Newton’s first law (but I digress).
Something else I noticed-the reason the goons shoot like stormtroopers- Freeman is invisible! You look down-no legs. When you activate objects-nothing touches them When you pickup heavy objects-no arms or hands When on the airboat-no hands gripping the handlebar…although one hand could be on the throttle on the motor, since the throttle lever never moves either. Those poor goons don’t stand a chance against the invisible Gordon Freeman! Just wondering if anyone else caught that. Anyway…good game. I’m not sure I agree with the critic on the box that called it the “best game ever made” Deus Ex is BTW: Very smooth with no chop at all on a P4C-3GHz and Radeon 9800P with 4X FSAA at 1024x768
