yea i just read july 2006, so i suspect that that is the end of july 06
by the way, does anyone have any suggestions on where I should level and grind for exp...I am almost level 50 on a non-pvp server (alliance). thanks!

I just got a Halberd of Smiting on my Warrior and I must say, what a wonderful thing it is. Upgraded from an Arcanite Reaper. I have to completely re-spec now to accomodate Polearm weapnry.

That is some nice damage on that weapon. I'm too lazy now that I finally got 1 character to 60 on a PvE server. It's not like I can go griefing the lowbies for revenge like on a PvP server.

I am a level 49 warrior, going on 50, is Imperial Plate set good for me, i have 3 pieces thus far, or is there a better set. Also is there somewhere I can see the list on "extra" skills/abilities you get from wearing multiple set pieces?

Hmm Perenolde and Hellscream, I have low level alts on those servers. I'm still on Dethecus but have become pretty bored. Doing BWL and MC to no end every week has lost its charm.

I stopped playing once I hit 60 on my priest. With the wedding plans coming up I just don't have time with the wife to team up and play. I don't even play in large enough chunks to get attuned to MC.

Fortunately I've managed to avoid the World of WarCrack, but that doesn't mean I haven't been tempted. I hear a lot of good reports from friends, but I would never go to work and my girlfriend would undoubtedly break up with me if I added another major distraction to my life.

I just read the release notes for patch 1.10 for priests. I'm trying to make a pure healer focus and it looks quite difficult. The one absolutely greatest change they made if they made no change at all is now Human priests (such as me) have an actual use for Feedback. Instead of dealing shadow damage by change when using melee weapons, successful magical offensive attacks done to human priests causes the caster to lose mana and get hit back with shadow damage. Excellent!

in AQ now. Cleared the first 4 bosses last night. Princess Huhuron is a pain, but just takes good strategery.
I think the loot system is a bit better in AQ than MC/BWL. Not the actual loot itself (a lot of it is crap). But the ZG quest item type gear. Once you get up to Neutral rep with the BoN then you can only get rep from turn ins from the items off the bosses. Each item is 500 rep (550 for humans). 3000 to friendly, 6000 to honored. 12000 to revered. 21000 to Exalted. 42000 total rep. So save the tokens till Neutral since you can't get trash mob rep after neutral. 42000/500 = 84 turn ins aka Boss Kills. I think there are 9 bosses, 2 optionals which have yet to be killed on any server. And no one has killed the final boss yet either. Say you kill 6 bosses per week. thats about 14 weeks or so to get all the way to exalted. You only need exalted for the ring quests and they are just so so. Only need Honored for the top set pieces.. thats only 9000 rep. 9000/500 = 18 kills. Of course this is all after you get to Neutral. thats 39000 rep from grinding.

Does everyone get the 500 rep for each boss kill?
We haven't started AQ40 yet... wiping and wiping on Nef still. My guild lets me go DPS in MC now (shadow priest), so lost silence, vampiric embrace, improved fear, etc. and took up the aggro reducing talents and 10% more mana. 1.10 will be an interesting patch with weather and priest changes... it almost makes me want to go Holy/Disc since I don't PvP anymore, and I'm leveling up a Horde Mage (42) so hopefully I'll be able to get DPS jollies satisfied with that I did the unthinkable 2 weeks ago though. I met a girl from WoW.  She's a shaman in the top Horde guild on my server, she flew up for a few days, and we had a great time. I always heard about people meeting from the game, but it's a reality check when you realize they're just another living person that likes to go out to eat, watch movies, and all that other stuff. I fear less that I have become "that kind of person"  |

Everyone gets a token off the boss which is turned in (npc's on the left after the first boss) for 500 rep. There is currently a bug though if you are released then you can't get a token.
But at least this way if you are dead when the boss dies you still get rep by turning the item in. Nice priest changes coming, unfortunately i'm a pally.. so bitter. |

Since Alexstrasza was released recently I started playing there due to my guild breaking up from BWL grinding.
Top Horde guild on the server, only Horde guild in MC and we will have Ragnaros down in two weeks or so. First Majordomo attempt is this week. We are moving up pretty fast through PvE so it will be nice to be back in BWL again. I love it personally. My new character is a 60 Undead Priest. Upcoming 1.10 patch is very nice for Priests, and I think this will be my final spec: 1.10 Talent Spec |

Re-installed. Doing AQ40 but having some guild problems. Nurfed (Large, popular guild, makers of nurfed ui) stole some of our good members since they were in a member rut and now they put us in one
 We're trying to build back up but it's semi hard when 5 of your priests quit in the same week. We've down Skeram with ease and have killed the bug family with ease as well. Sartura we've killed once but have not killed her since we added like 10 new trials. |
