I recently bought & finished RE4 for the Cube. (Rented it like 4x and kept renting it and finally said "I'm not paying for this game if I won't own it" so I bought it this past weekend.)

I cannot highly recommend RE4 enough for anyone who can buy the game (GC or Ps2 owners even). One of the best games I've played in a loooooong time and definitely one of the best action games I've ever played. Also definitely the best RE game to date; I hope Mikami (the director) uses RE4 as a foundation and builds every RE game this way from now on.

I'm about 1/3 through a 2nd playthrough...one of the nice things is the New Game + feature where you start over but keep all your items, your lifebar, etc. I'm trying to save up enough pesetas to buy the Chicago Typewriter but I don't want to sell my full upgraded Striker, my (almost) fully upgraded Blacktail, and my somewhat-upgraded Semi-Auto Rifle to get it. Although I might anyway...I played around with it the other night (but didn't save) and it was fun as hell.

I plan on playing through at least 3 times total...the game is just so fun.
