The games don't really apeal to me. Also I can imagine some people are waiting on the HDDVD version.

Yeah I agree. x360 games suck. They should have launched with one of their franchise games, then MAYBE i'd consider it.

You know...I have to agree with you Jihforce. There are some games that are very impressive graphically, but the game itself is stripped of content (NBA Live, Tiger Woods, Madden). PGR3 is ok, but playing online isn't fun because people are bitching too much.

I think overall though, this console is pretty damn cool. Xbox Live works well and marketplace is great. They just need an influx of good games or they'll not get any advantage for being the first mover.

Forget waiting for the HDDVD drive. It's probably about 1.5 years away and I don't think that'll be the winning standard. It looks like the Blueray will win since a lot of studios have recently announced they'll use Blueray.

I got a gamertag gear, but no Live at the moment

. I'm waiting for the MS company store to get the wireless adapter in so I don't have to pay 100$ for it.

I did hook up live though to download Geometry wars

, game is sooo much fun.

I'm personally enjoying all the games I have so far(CoD2, PGR3, Amped3, Kameo, Madden(stripped down but still fun), and Condemned) I will be getting PDZ sometime soon as well.

Well I could drag a cable across my apartment but I'm too lazy(dont' want to guy buy a long enough cable). I could split the signal coming into my HD STB and hook up my wireless there, but then I am splitting the signal for TV(had a problem with it before). Then I would have to buy a wireless adapater for my computer

I'm waiting for PDZ to get in at the MS company store as well, its only 25$. Thanks for the offer though. Once I get my 360 wireless adapter, I will be up and running for some COD2 and PDZ online.

I have to pick up a wireless adapter, but did drag a cable across the room for a while..

It just feels like it. No detailed franchise mode (no salary cap, no GM functions other than the basic sign, trade, draft, etc.) no minicamp, no challenges, no advanced hot routes (can't extend them to the 1st down marker).

Plus it does feel a little basic compared to madden 06 on the xbox.

just got it setup last night. If you are thinking of buying one, I highly recommend a HDTV, as well as a surround sound system. If you don't have these, then you are missing out on a majority of the experience, and would not be worth it.

Mostly that and some other stuff, only one default camera angle, can zoom out but not back in once you are at the line. Multiplayer on the same TV kinda sucks, since you ALWAYS have to zoom out, can see what plays the other person selects. It just seems like a lot of the features were cut and they just redid the graphics(Except the ****ing grass, same grass for every stadium.

i'm welfareloser... but i've never gotten on xbox live, even on the old xbox. it's just never appealed to me... maybe i'll set up my free trial, though, if i can get the wireless thingy to work (i am NOT dragging a cable up two stories.) but i've never been into sports games, and i get my buckwheats handed to me at shooters, for the most part... and racing... so that covers most of the live-worthy games

Halo 3 is reportedly scheduled for the same, or close to the, release date of the PlayStation 3.

is their a keyboard/mouse adapter yet? i just can't controlers. hopefully i'll be getting a job soon and the price for the hardware is pretty apealing. i know there was an adapter for the xbox but i'm not sure about the 360.

I don't think they will make an adapter, you CAN plug a usb keyboard in to enter info in the signup processes though

It would just be to difficult for them to allow keyboard/mouse use and controller use in the same online games.

i was hoping someone can tell me if this is true. Supposedly, if you plug your XBOX wireless adaptor and have it configed to your Xbox first and then transfer it to your 360, the orginal Xbox wireless adapter will work. A friend told me that it works and since i dont have the 360, i cant try it out. it would be good bcuz then people wouldnt need to buy 2 wireless adaptiors for both systems. my friend also said that it works and microsoft isnt really telling anyone because they want people to buy both adaptors. anybody know what im talking about? hope so

If Halo 3 is exclusive to an XBox 360, then i'll buy Halo 3 and my XBox 360 then. If Halo 3 is available for play on the original XBox, then I won't be purchasing an XBox 360.
