What is the main objective of the game??
I started playing this game and all you do is wander? Anyway I just started playing today...

Any Hints\tips??

I lost my weapon, I dont know whether I deleted it or dropped it.. How do I get another one? I am playing in destromath server..

Did you pick a PvE or PvP server? Basically you pick up quests from the NPC's and gain experience points all the way to level 60. I play on a PvE server and after reaching 60 I'm bored and my computer is too crummy to play in these 'arenas'. For PvP, it's the same objective except you should be actively on your guard because the opposite faction can kill you because you're always flagged to be killed or kill.

I suggest PvP and then join a guild. Then it's just leveling and harrasing the other team. Like Red vs Blue or whatever.

I would have to say the objective is to explore the World of Azeroth and to develop a character that is specialized in certain areas (and that all really depends on what you picked as a char class and what you like). The game is very linear when you get to the bottom line, it WILL teach you all the basics and while yes you can go anywhere and pick and chose what quests you do, it still does provide a path.
You level up by completing quests and from killing monsters. You will eventually chose a primary and secondary profession (again, some are better suited for certain classes, and it is also a matter of preference) and gather materials, say different types of ore if you are a miner, in which you would probably have blacksmithing as your primary profession, of which uses bars (smelted from ore) to create armor, weapons, and other misc things.

I would personally, if you are at work and cant play, hit the forums at www.worldofwarcraft.com. There you can find sections of the forum just about your char class. Read the stickies, they are usually very good. You are probably gonna be like what are they talking about on some things, but you are going to get a great deal of background knowledge. I highly recommend browsing around on the forums for a bit. Also I have posted a question maybe 5 or 6 times, everytime I got great response with very little "oh what a newb" responses.

In higher level end game, when you approach maybe level 50, you main task (well besides getting to 60) is really finding a good guild or group to go to the highest level Dugeons (instances they are called as well) and getting your char setup to work well with the group/guild you will be going with (or just setup well to work in a group, this will make complete sense to you well before you get to level 50, if it does not make complete sense now). You will want to assign talent points ( i think you get one per level, from levels 10-60) to really focus your char (dont worry about making a perfect char early on, you can redo your talent points later, for a price). You will also want to equip your char with some decent gear.

You go to the high level instances for a few reasons; to get Epic gear (the best stuff), make gold to an extent, beat the really hard bosses, and have fun. I have heard people say, all you do in this game is level up to 60, to go to instances, to equip your guy with the best gear, that is it. Well....yea it is, but it should also be fun and rewarding to take down these rather tough bosses working in a huge group.


This is all probably really jubbled, but it is the best of how I could think to explain some things quickly. It is a great game, stick it out for a bit though, most people either love it instantly, and others i have heard did not like it right away but after you get going a bit, love it! Message me with any and all questions, and if you are really low level still, start a new char and hop onto my server (Perenolde). I am alliance and part of an awesome guild for leveling to 60. Obviously I really enjoy the game and my gf plays as well!
