News Archive?
Just wondering where the news goes once it is no longer on the front page. I try to check the site daily but that often isn't an option for me, is there a news archive somewhere that I overlooked?

Sorry I never replied on time. I have been working on stuff behind the scenes. It's working and now in place if you didn't notice already.

Just curious - why would you want expired deals?
We already have a searchable database for all of our deals and a list too of current ones. Sorry, maybe I'm missing something - deals that are no longer valid seems like a waste to keep in a database. If you could explain more what ya mean please... |

 No, you didn't miss anything, I did. Until your reply I never noticed the searchable expiring deals and coupon database.  Thank you kindly for the reply though as that is what got me to notice it. I guess my eye naturally skips certain areas.  |

About the Newspro Archive: Well now it seems as of 2-26-01 the newspro archives are screwed up again.. ARRRGGG. I'm still checking into this. I don't know if it has anything to do with the server time change and the hickups, but I have my eye on it. Hope to get it fixed soon - but everything I check so far seems to be correct. Hmmmm |

Deal archive.... It may advertise a super deal on a so so DVD player, I am broke in Feb or already own one so i dont care, but in march a friend asks for a good DVD player for cheap, I remember Apex holds all their deals for up to 7 years (Required by CA state law) and I refer him to the archives... Its not like RGN is gonna complain about disk space... they have more than enough unless you are secretly storing DivX's in the gotapex.com/divx directory...
Didn't you get the memo? If you could set up a deal archive that would be great... Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa SEP.

On Newspro Archive: This is now working again.
On Deals Archvie: This is not a matter of space. If Apex (Gabe) wants that done.. then maybe Gene will need to get involved in that. I still don't understand why it's needed though... But I guess I don't deal with the deals side of the site soo... |
