NSS: Mario Party 8 for $40
Went to CC and picked up Mario Party 8 for Wii for $40. They have a deal 2 games and get $20 off. Picked up Metal Slug Anthology for $40. Also had a $10 GC for joining AAA recently. $40+40-20-10=$50. Not so bad.

Anyway, for the real reason of my post, is Metal slug anthology good? Does it use the wiimote for pointing?

Metal Slug Anthology is the best $40 I've ever spent. You use the Wiimote to "throw" grenades. You hold it like the cow racing game on Wii Play and kind of flick it to throw grenades.
Hours of mindless shooting in that game.... |

I've only played half a round of Mario Party. Right now it's sorta meh. I haven't opened Metal Slug yet since it was my brother really hinting to get it since he plays it on his Neo Geo Pocket.

Mario Party so far has been disappointing. It's ok but I wish I could skip the animation and some other features. The mini-games aren't very fun overall.
Metal slug is a great buy but the only configuration that works is using the directional pad like an NES controller. Flicking grenades is the only way to throw them. The other configurations are pretty bad. You have nunchuck only. Remote control tilting. Both nunchuck and remote which isn't too bad with practice I guess. It's a quarter muncher for sure. |
