I'm wondering if anyone has used either of these "services" and actually gotten paid for their trouble. Are these types of sites just a means for spam propogation and info harvesting or are they legit?

I've done xmarksthespot.com and accumulated like $35 and so far nothing! All of the sponsers say payment pending, but they never pay. I am starting to think it is a big scam.

I tried RegisterOne and have only gotten like $15 but they haven't payed me they said they were going to send out their check soon.

how do these companies decide whom to pay? I signed up with registeronce (lifeminders) several months ago and no check.. i signed up with xmarksthespot a while back too and no check..
