Free Arby's sandwich

In Oct 22,2001 issue of People Magazine, on the page opposite of 95 (no, not really 94), is a coupon for a free Market Fresh Sandwich. Expires on Nov 15,2001.

I have heard that the ad is not in all magazines so, if you pick one up at the news stand, look at the page opposite of 95 first

ooooohhhhhhh....I LOOOOOVVEEE Arby's. Especially when they're dunked in the horsey sauce. The neck-breaking, brain-crushing pain of the horsey sauce hitting my inner organs is the only reason I love Arby's. My mouth is watering right now....

Thumbs down FYI about Arby's

I used to work at an Arby's store in highschool. All the meat at my store was pre-frozen and thawed in hot water, and when it came out of the water it was all slimey, then we sliced it up to customers. Many times the meat was so slippery, that us workers dropped it on the floor. Every new person at my work dropped the meat at least once. My manager said it was ok, and even company policy, to wash it off and serve it. Needless to say, I don't eat at Arby's anymore. I can't speak for all Arby's stores, I'm sure the quality of the other stores is fine. Just a little FYI.

Why do you think they have the horsey sauce? It holds it together.

Next time I go to Arbys I'm gonna have to ask the counter person to make sure the person making my sandwich is holding on tight to their meat while it is being made. No special horsey sauce though.

I wish Arby's could get it together in my city...

I've been to Arby's while traveling, but when I ever go to a hometown Arby's they are hopeless. I have actually recieved sandwiches there that are missing the roast beef. On another occasion I was charged over a hundred dollars for the 5 for 5.95 deal. It took me 20 minutes at the drive-thru and a manager to convince the worker that the computer is not always correct. But I've never had a problem when eating out of area. I guess I'm just out of luck here.

You mean it's really meat!!!

when i first had an arby's....the 'meat' was soooo spongy that i thought it was worse than

I always overload on horsey sauce...that's the best thing about arby's....horsey sauce...the only other fast food place to have horseradish sauce is Roy Roger's, but so few of them exist now .

I think Arby's beef starts out as meat. Then they create a puré that is flavored, pressed, squeezed, cooked, and sliced paper thin. I guess it's about as much "meat" as Pringles are "potato chips".

Also, you can get horseradish sauce on a sandwich from Subway. Except that they only have it behind the counter.

Wink Can't beat Philly meat !

Come to Philadelphia and get some "real" meat, a Philly Cheese Steak.

They grill thinly sliced beef with a ton of onions rite in front of you. You can't even wash the smell out of your clothes. When you get the smell of a steak shop from a block away, you have to have one.

"Horsey" sauce ! That's for babies. Try some Pat's "hot sauce".

Arby's would never survive in South Philly..........

Man, you could buy 5 cows for that much money! How funny that the worker didn't catch the mistake.

*GASP* onions are the best! especially raw! and roast beef is good too
I like Arby's beef and cheddar. It's pretty ok for fake cheese and processed fast food meat

Well if they are holding on to their meat-chances are you're going to get horsey sauce sooner or later

Exclamation Depends

Quality at Arby's really depends ... for example, in Richmond, VA, several of the Arby's stores are more like a Fuddruckers or Applebees in appearance, setup, service, and food variety/quality ... not really even "fast food" per se ... I didn't believe it until I saw it.

Some of them in NC is low-quality. Just depends.
