My brother called. They said they have like 1,000 people on backorder. They did not however say anything about a misprice. In fact ,they said they were trying to order more to meet the supply. We'll see

I just checked my account on their website and it says that the product was discontinued...hmmm, does somethign sound fishy here or what. I mean...the product was an order on demand item. since no one else is having any luck, I think that I am going to call and complain. Will let you know what happens.

This is most definately dead...I just talked with 2 different customer service reps (first one hung up on me) and was finally able to get a fairly nice guy named Herman. He said that they have cancelled everyone's orders and that they were not going to do anything for those people. I am going to push this one a little further though...going to try going through someone above the regular custoemr service reps to try to get a discount or something. It just seemed kinda sheisty that the item is drop shipped and then they say that the item is discontinued. Who knows, guess I just feel like pushing on this one. I will keep everyone updated if I hear anything.

Confirmed. The company will NOT stand by the orders they have taken, accepted, and acknowledged.

Since my order said it was supposed to ship yesterday, I decided to call and follow up. Even though the web site says nothing about it, my order was evidently cancelled. Without any notification to me, the customer.

They offered me some other 128 Compact Flash at $66 and I pointedly accused them of a bait and switch scheme (the phone rep got a little worried at that one.)I also asked him why I should every buy anything from them if this is the way they do business (gosh, ain't I a stinker

)

Bottom line is they have no plans to honor their commitments. So don't hold you breath on getting your memory. Very disappointing.

According to the guy I talked to, we should have gotten an e-mail cancellation on the 22nd, the day the deal was put up.
