Hi Overstock Manager! I am new to this particular thread. I love Overstock and have been a customer for several years. I am looking for a specific item...the DC14 Low Reach vacuum by Dyson. I guess I missed it since it's "sold out" now. Do you know if you'll get any more in stock? If not, then I'll have to "settle" for the DC07. Also, if it's possible to get a better deal on that vacuum via this thread, then I would greatly appreciate it!

Unfortunately I do not know if we will be getting the DC14 in again anytime soon. Also what is the SKU for the DC07 and I will see what I can do for you.

I have been shopping Overstock for the last few years....and love it....up until now. I joined a couple of months ago which entitles me to the 5% discount, $1 shipping, etc. What I don't like, is that I can never get the discounts that are offered through the online coupons and such. It seems to me I read that when joining Club O the rules stated that I would get the best price offered. Every time I try to purchase something now, it immediately gives the 5%....period. I am not asking for the 5% plus the extra discount Just the BEST price. What gives?

Unfortunately once you have joined the Club O program you are no longer eligible for coupons and one off deals. I do understand how frustrating this can be, but at this time there is no way to go around this. You will always receive that 5% off. If you do want to use a different coupon then I would suggest opening a new account with a new email address that is not signed up for Club O, and you will be able to receive those discounts.

Overstock Man,
I've been looking for an mp3 player and saw the sony NW-HD1 on your site (#424173) for $199.99 the refurbished unit (#152475) is priced at $189.99, only a $10 (5%) savings. I was wondering if you could make that sweeter (like $50+ off) for the refurbished unit. The player also needs a firmware upgrade in order to play mp3s without converting them to sony ATRAC format, which will cost me another $20 + shipping to sony, and is only available until the end of august.  Where was that discount on the Memory Foam when I bought it??  (Hint for Memory Foam Shoppers: I ordered a queen size and it's actually a bit smaller than my queen mattress.......If you're buying a Foam Mattress, I'd buy the next size up and then trim it with a razor blade.) |

Just remember to be careful when cutting... I've never tried it myself, but I've heard of others being frustrated after they were unable to cut straight.
