Lowes coupons can only be used once at lowes, but Home depot will take competitor coupons, so you can use it there (they don't have the same bar code system, so they don't know if its been used before or not). Another tip, Home depot coupons cap you at 10% of a $2,000 purchase. If you are buying more than that, you're better off using a Lowes coupon as they cap it at $10,000 and Home Depot will honor that.

I took a copy of the coupon to Lowes and it did come up that had already been used so the clerk called a manager and she fixed it. No problem.
Like someone said above, Home Depot will honor it too. If Lowes won't give you the discount let them know you are heading to Home Depot with it.  StevieBV |

home depot will not take the coupon -at the home depot by me was told they wont even accept there own online coupons them ASSHATS .
wont even accept there own companys coupons -that is fishy if you ask me . but did get the mrg at lowes to accept the coupon-even do it said was used already |

I always print them on nice paper, then they look original anyway. I've never had a problem using Lowes coupons at Home Depot (I know some people who have used the same coupon a number of times). I just did a major remodel and I used 5 different Lowes coupons at the local Home Depot. Just need a nicely printed one.
