refilling toner cartridges

anyone have any experience? i've got a KM Magicolor 2430 DL. The cartridges are $130 each, would like to refill if:

1. it's not too difficult
2. my print quality will be as good
3. there's very slim chance of me wrecking my machine.

how many times can i refill a cartridge?

I've only had experience with refilling the cartride on my Samsung ML-1740 (B&W). It was very easy to do, since the Samsung cartrige has a "plug" that can be removed to add the toner. Many other cartriges require that you purchase a "hole cutter" - sort of a soldering iron with a larger cylinder at the end. They supply you with a plug to close the hole after refilling.

The things I've read gave a practical limit of one refill for a cartridge. They said that print quality would deteriorate if it was refilled more than that.

yeah, my cartridge has a "plug" that screws off. can refill all for $140 vs. buying them for $480. I think I'll give it a whirl.
