If you have $200 - $250 for a cool gadget, what would you buy?

My boss has asked me to purchase a gadget to donate to a Heart Walk raffle coming up, with a budget of $200 - $250. The easy thing to do would be to get an iPod Nano, but I thought that maybe a nice little Elph camera or other digi cam would be cooler. What do you guys think? What would you buy with that kinda dough to blow?

Well, if the goal is to generate as many ticket sales as possible, and iPod is probably the way to go.

I can think of several other cool things, but nothing that'd sell many tickets.

Its hip and all that to get an ipod. So might as well go with the flow.

IPod is definitely a good way to go.

Maybe a gift certificate to an elegant restaurant in the SD area.

The thing is that the iPod Nano is not that special in my opinion. If I had $300 for the iPod video, that would be something but the Nano? Meh

I'll probably get it though.

Yeah, everyone does iPod giveaways.

How about one of these:

- DVD player & a year subscription to Netflix
- 19" LCD monitor
- Dell Axim PocketPC
- Digicam is always a good choice
- Gift certificate to Amazon

i second (or third?) the digicam.
the ipod is more of a personal thing, and mostly can be enjoyed by just one person (whoever wins it).
but a digicam will always bring out the fun in gatherings, and it can involve more people to enjoy it, not just by one person only.
and by nature, you share whatever photographs you take anyway, so its always a cool thing to have (or give away).

Good suggestions.

Personally, I would go purchase a slingbox with that type of money to blow, but that is due to the fact that I travel.
