Chinese iPod Nano?
My son bought an iPod Nano. It was an open-box item (and priced accordingly) so we assume it was a returned item.
All of the menus were in Chinese... Since we don't read Chinese, we returned it. Is that simply an option to change the menu language, or are models made specifically for different languages?

Yeah. There's a language option in the settings. I just made mine Polish.
But i figure it would be hard to switch language while it was still in a different language unless you know the menus (although I just discovered a "reset all settings" menu which is written in English all the time). |

Last time I was in China I saw an "iDod" for sale... thought that's what you meant from the title.
But yes, what gear02 said. You can select from many languages. Dave. |

If you hold the play and middle button down. *gen 3 or 4* i think the click wheel style of the big ipod, you can reset the whole thing on the fly and then the first thing it asks is for you to select the language. I'm sure if you go to apple or google, reset ipod nano, that will be explained to you.
Although apparently its too late. ![]()
