Welcome to the big boys toys. That is a pretty fast lens you have- great for lower light situations. My lens has a longer range but is not as fast (24- 205 f/3.5- 5.6) and I sometimes I wish it was faster. Very nice setup you have! Just that 70- 200mm costs more than my whole set up. It certainly opens up more possibilities than a P&S. Your early photos look great.

I just got the same camera and I love it. I've got a tamron 18-300 which is great for outdoors, but is pretty darn slow. I've been thinking about getting a 28-135 IS lens for indoor and low light shots.

very nice. but i say ditch the 16-35mm and get the 24-70mm f2.8L. you'll appreciate the added range. plus, it complements the 70-200mm nicely.

I love my wide angle (my second lens is a 10- 20mm which is equal to a 15- 30mm on a full frame sensor- the Nikon one is a bit smaller.)

naa. I say keep the 16-35. One extra mm towards the wide range is worth 100mm in the telezoom.

Irwin, looks you have a natural eye for fun, interesting pictures. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Pretty impressive. Did you run any noise reduction on the shot or is this out of the camera? Noise is hardly noticable here.

Dang, Irwin, is that the 400mm? You seem to have WAY too much disposable income. Just let me know when you're done with those lenses & I'll be happy to carry them to the trash for you.

I was embarrassed at what I deemed "uploadable" back then. The pics were garbage haha.
