Recommend a good small (as in for laptops) wireless mouse

as the title suggests, i'm looking for a small compact mouse to take along with a laptop. Wireless would be nice, especially bluetooth!

i'm thinking the Logitech V270 is the best bet, but if you guys have any suggestions, i'd love to hear 'em!

I picked up the small M/S 3000 about a year ago and love it. Works just fine, and love the size / form factor.

USB adapter snaps into the bottom for when you travel, making it easier to transport.

Four stars!

I second that. This is a great mouse. I use it on my MacBook, and you really can configure everything. I have the search button doing expose, the zoom out button at minimize windows, and the zoom out button to switch desktops.

In fact, the only thing that I don't like about it is that it isn't bluetooth, so I have to have the USB receiver plugged in to use it.

I like the Microsoft Wireless 3000-this is the only mouse laptop wireless mouse I use.

As I have said before when you buy a Microsoft mouse or keyboard you get a 3-5 year no hassle warranty and deal right with Microsoft. And they dropship the replacement right to your door via Airborn or DHL. No need to take it back to the retailer and get a exchange (this is a big plus to me)! I have had other major mouse and keyboard makers tell me this only to be told by the retailer its not their problem-its the makers and they need to handle it. I got so pissed I just trashed the unit right outside the retailers door.

The thing with Microsoft is they go off a part and serial number on a item, and if the part is out of production they will give you a choice most the time of a upgrade or full refund of the price you paid and no returning of the old part. Not like most of the other companies.

so I ended upgetting the Logitech V270 as planned. Its small (but not too small), runs on 2 AAs, has a on/off switch, the BlueTooth works flawlessly, and it comes with a nifty zipper storage pouch. Hells yea. The thing thats weird about it is when you leave the mouse motionless for a bit, then you when you move it, the cursor kinda 'lags', kinda like the mouse was on standby and it has to 'powerup'. Its barely noticeable, and I'm sure it'll just be short while until you're used to it.

anyways, this mouse kicks ass.
