HP Part Number: EC205UA#ABA guys asking $250 what you all think -deal or no deal ? CONDITION/COMMENTS: The only known issue with this laptop is one of the two built in USB ports does not work. However, I purchased a USB PCMCIA plug-in card which adds two additional USB ports, for a total of 3 working USB ports. Aside from that the laptop is in excellent condition, and has seen minimal use. spec . I don't know about HP's reliability, but it looks like a great deal to me, especially with the upgraded memory.

Sounds like a really good deal, but if there is a problem with the USB ports, I would be a bit nervous. Most of the time if there is a problem like that it spells disaster for the motherboard over a few months of use. However, you may be able to just check the system bios and see if he accidentally disabled them etc.

i bought the unit guys no he screwed up one usb port not a biggie or anything i am worryed about .he also tossed in a 2 port usb card so im fine !
