DVD Burner and Camcorder Question
I just bought a camcorder and don't know what's the best way to store the media.
do most people upload the video on their computer, edit it, and then burn it using a computer dvd burner? or use the kind of burner that attaches to my HT? ![]()

I don't use my camcorder much, but when I do I use a converter to upload the media to my PC. Then use Pinnacle to edit before burning to DVD.
I use a Dazzle converter. Yeah, you could probably find something of higher quality...but this does the trick and won't put a dent in your wallet. BTW, the Pinnacle software came with the converter. Oh wait, you've got 10k laying around. ![]() ![]()

I use firewire to transfer data from my miniDV camcorder to my computer.

puter.. pretty basic stuff on camcorder plus you'll need more room after long.. then you'll want to try some different "effects" later on. better to have it all in one place... the pc. Save the edit on the camcorder for a need to do basis
