Which Dell to Buy
Hey all I could use your help on this one.....
My wife is a amateur photographer mostly our little one and some other things. She also does a lot of scrapbooking. I just bought her a new toy (Wishblade) if you want to know. Its a desktop plotter to cut out things... She has an old laptop and I wanted to get her a new computer. I was looking at a couple of Dells AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ or ... Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6300 (1.86GHz, 1066 FSB). I know the Intel is faster but its also 160 bucks more and I woudl still have to upgrade a few things that come on the AMD..... She uses photoshop but nothing heavy.... Is the extra couple of hundred bucks worth it.... They both come with 2gb of ram and a 19 and 20" LCD. Any help or comments welcome. Thanks |

I guess it depends on what things you'd have to upgrade?
From what you're saying, the AMD is the better deal. |

![]() The AMD Dell deals are normally better than the Intel. Sounds like she'd probably be OK with either...
