burn in.....

question, is it possible to get burn in on a dvd changer??
i have a smasung 5 disc changer and normally when its warming up on in "sleep" mode there is a smasung logo on a blue screen
but recently it changed from that to a screen shot from one of my dvds. as far as i know it was not paused for a long period of time and i dont remember that last time i watched it, but now its always there while i am changing discs warming up or whatever
i fiond this bizzare, is this burn in or what would have caused this and how do i get rid of it , if possible

that's not burn in, it sounds like you toggled a setting on the dvd player. Check your manual.

Burn in would be an image burned into a screen that didn't go away no matter what channel you were on, and in some cases, you'd even see it faintly with the tv off. So no, players themselves won't burn in

well yeah i realize it not burn in so to speak but i ahve no idea what to call it

Check your menu options for a setting like Wallpaper or background -- that's probably what the problem is.
