Is there a device that would plug between the monitor and video card that would allow video snapshots during installation of operating systems?

I dont know if you want to capture images for use on computers or on video. for computer images you can use the print screen button on your computer and paste the image into a image editing program such as the windows paint program. there are also programs you can download that will take a snapshot of the screen or window you want and save it automatically on your hard drive as an image file for later use. Zdnet.com is a great place to look for these programs.
if you want to output to video tape, there are video cards that have outputs to connect to a tv or vcr. |
