What's a a good effective CPU fan, that's at the same time not so loud that you can hear it all the way to the other side of town?

Right now I have a oc'd 850 T-bird with an FOP38 fan. The fan is working flawlessly, but I only wish it weren't as loud as a jet engine. Can't hear anything over it. I want a powerful fan, but quieter than the FOP38.

any recommendations?

winfop 38 loud as a jet engine? Do you have your case open? 'Cause those shouldn't be that loud. You could always get some insulation stuff they use for car stereo's and line all of your case with it, that does wonders. But for great cooling, get an Alpha. Those are some of the best.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

btw, here's a valid recommendation. you'll lose 12 cfm, but you'll also lose 14 dB.
