I have a Abit KT7-raid m-board... is there a way to oc it over 1 ghz? In the bios the options only go up to 1ghz, so is there a bios update that I can put in that can let me go higher than that?
Also is there a way to manually adjust the FSB speed? b/c as far as I can tell I can only affect the mulitplier speed by playing with the cpu speed option... |

Yep, you can just set it manually.

All of that can be set on your on in the bios. Don't worry about what it says when it asks for proc speed, just change the voltage and multiplier to make it the speed you want, just make sure you got enough cooling power. BTW, this is the wrong forum to have this in, there's an overclocking forum.

What cpu are you trying to OC over 1ghz? I have the same mobo with a 1ghz T-bird and with the multiplier L1 bridge unlocked using defroster grid paint, it does 1.2 ghz.
If you've done that, to go over 1ghz you select "user defined" then use the multiplier below that. 1.2 ghz is simply 12x100 leaving the fsb multiplier alone. |

It probably won't OC over 200mhz (usually) if that. From what I've read, 100-200mhz is about all the AMD cpus OC (at least T-Birds).
