From what I've been reading, the Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1 is very simmilair to the Soundblaster Live Platinum. Im trying to set up a good dvd/music computer. I've already purchased the cambridge fps2000, but i'm considering returning them and getting the dtt2200 for the dolby digital sound, plus the dtt2200's are directed more towards movies, rather than games. So What would be a great set of speakers (i know klipsch, but can't spend that much) to compliment a Platinum 5.1?
If the 5.1 isn't worth the cash, please tell me the best configuration for getting dolby sound or just the best sound for the money. As of now, most places are sold out of the dtt2200 for low prices, but I haven't seen too many reviews on them (they also have a 17W sub, which is kinda weak), ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED |

Well I didn't buy the platinum, because the other 5.1 cards are identical. I don't need the live! drive, and they are half as much. Gamer has game software, Mp3 music software,
I really wanted the ET card but onvia.com doesn't sell them ![]() Now all I need are some good speakers, the fps2000's are on their way to my house, but I'm goign to reject them. |
