i decide to add a stick of ram to my main rig tonight .look and see it needs to be cleared out of dust bunnys. so i bring out the old can of compressed air .get the rig all closed back up .now i hear a fan going bad . looks like tomorrow i be opening up the case again and swapping out a fan .not sure if its a cpu or just a case fan but just my luck !

You can fix noisy fans pretty easily - just take the sticker off of the back so you can see into the spindle, put in a drop of 3-in-1 or machine oil & you'll be back in business.
