Recently got the SMC7004BR router with the built in firewall. Works great, but can't get Diablo II bnet to work.
Downloaded the latest firmware for the router. Configured SMC 'special applications' to work with bnet. Tried DMZ host for router (which is supposed to disable the firewall temporarily). No luck. Called SMC tech support, spoke with them for 1/2 hour, still could not configure. We tried many things, including manually setting up an ip address. Could it be my Verizon dsl isp causing the problem? Bnet worked before I got the router too. Thanks Also went to blizzard support on which ports to open, still no luck. Check it out. http://www.blizzard.com/support/diab...ms/ports.shtml |
