yeah i'm building a sub $1000 comp for my parents that i might end up with in a couple months and i was wondering if the gig compared to k7v or the kt7 would be the best price versus value cause i looked at the gig and it has onboard sound which i've heard hurts performance but not significantly. and it would save me about 80 bucks over a kt7 with sb live. im getting the 1gig ath tbird. some pc133 memory unless i find out how to use pc150 with one of these boards before i purchase. and the rest is just basic add-ons. I've heard infineon makes good sticks along with crucial, but i'm not sure how stable one of these systems would be if i decided to stick some generic mem sticks in there. they're down to 36 bucks for 128 of 133! insanity. i haven't decided if i'm going to dable into the overclocking just yet, but i know the asus or the abit boards would be better if im even considering it.
