speaker wires into computer's audio jack

I have a cassette tape that I want to record its audio on my computer. I have software that can capture this. However, my tape player just has the speaker wires.
Is there such a way to make this work?

Thanks,
Rick

does your tape player have a headphone jack? If so, maybe you can use that instead.

Most soundcards that I know of will not accept a "high level" input such as raw speaker wire.

yes it does.

Its the standard small size jack...would that make it the same size jack for the computer input?
If that's the case, would I just need a cord with two male headphone adapters on each end?

Yup... that should do the trick.
