anyone know if digicrime.com actually places a virus on your computer? a friend of mine claims this site actually places a virus on your computer when you go to http://www.digicrime.com
he said the first time he visited http://www.digicrime.com mcafee vs detected a virus. any time i visit that site on his computer now, it doesnt show any viruses being detected. also a full scan shows no infected files on the computer. but when i tried to access the site on another computer in a library it did exactly what my friend said it did. mcafee vs detected a virus but by the time i clicked clean file, it was already gone. every consecutive try it does not show anything happening.
i have some ideas to what happened. 1) it could be just a javascript hoax. or 2) it could have infected the computer and attacked mcafee vs itself so it cant detect the virus any more.
if anyone knows anything about this we would appreciate any help.
